My interest in photography started when I was 11 years old. Throughout my life I’ve been a shutterbug. In 2012 I decided to make my hobby into my passion, then into my career so I decided to pursue an education in it.
I have earned an Associate in Art degree from Chaffey College’s photography program and a Bachelor of Arts in photo-communications from California State University Fullerton.
As a veteran I found photography was the key to help me re-adjust to civilian life. It was also a way for me to express what other-wise would have been expressionless. I found it to be very therapeutic. Photography pulled me out of the darkest corners of PTSD. I ultimately became a strong believer in using art as tool for recovery.
The camera gives me a way to show the world how I see it.
